Love Field Auto

Called late on a Thursday and set up an appointment for Monday morning for brakes. Dropped off my vehicle at 8am had estimate to me just after 9am. Picked up my vehicle a little after 2pm. I asked some questions about other services, which were readily answered. Everyone was great. I will be taking my vehicle back for some other services.

Mechanics are very nice and the shop is transparent with pricing, but I would not recommend for tire service. Was charged a total of $450 for two $80 off-brand tires (no allignment, just swaped 2 tires). $60/tire to “mount and balance.” I get that they need to charge for labor and service, but this was steep to me and likely +$100 than countless other shops in the area I could have gone to. In summary: Great service, mid-high prices.

Have trusted Love Field Auto for my vehicle maintenance for a few years now, after switching due to poor experiences elsewhere. Recently scheduled my wife's car for a routine oil change and ended up getting that done along with a few other things they recommended as part of the general inspection, which is included when you get the oil change. My only gripe is the price of the (conventional) oil change shot up to the $90 range, compared to the previous oil change, six months ago, which was in the $60 range. However, something I learned after a nice chat with the owner or manager is the price of their full synthetic oil change is only a few dollars more than their conventional oil change. Lloyd and Rachelle are incredibly personable and helpful. Not only are they friendly but they communicate well about waiting times and estimates. In an industry that often obfuscates pricing, love field auto is transparent and truly cares about the service they deliver. Honesty is another rarity and love field auto has consistently (this is now my 4th visit) been upfront with which repairs I need and don’t. They are versatile in their knowledge and I trust them.

LOVE this place! They are so kind and efficient and clear! Very trustworthy and reasonably priced. As a woman, I felt extra happy coming here because they have amazing lady, Chelle, managing everything. We will be back!
