LUV Car Wash

Would not recommend and like many other reviewers, their wash damaged my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee by ripping off part of the trim above a wheel. I've taken this truck to Gate washes over 100 times and never had an issue. I saw that the part was missing when I was using the vacuum and immediately talked to the manager on duty. They stopped the car wash and were able to find the damaged trip piece inside. It was damaged so it wouldn't attach back to frame. He told me to reach out to "corporate" and gave me an email, which I wrote to that day and sent pictures. 3 weeks later, no reply so went back to this location. They said to give it more time. I emailed again and and waited another 2 weeks before being sent a long email saying that due to the age of my vehicle, the damage isn't cover

I have been a loyal LUV Car Wash member for years, but my experience on 1/24/26 at the St. Johns location was unacceptable. While my Lexus NX 200t was inside the wash, the brush struck my left mirror three times and broke it. The wash briefly stopped, which was frightening, then resumed without anyone checking on the situation. After it finished, I looked for staff inside — no one was monitoring the wash. Employees were outside, and I had to call them over myself. The staff documented the damage on site. However, my claim was later denied with incorrect vehicle information listed, which raises serious concerns about how the report was submitted and investigation was handled. I always get compliments on how clean my truck is.::. The story I tell: I spend hours per week detailing. Pause for effect. Then I admit I’m joking. The truth: A few minutes driving through LUV’s car wash. Magical!

Absolutely terrible experience. I brought my car in for a wash, it was damaged with the manager having to take the peace that came out of my car out of washing station. That alone is unacceptable — but what made it even worse was how the situation was handled. There was no accountability, no urgency to resolve the issue, and no genuine concern shown for the damage caused. Instead of taking responsibility and making things right, I felt dismissed and ignored. When you trust a business with your vehicle, you expect professionalism and care. Unfortunately, this place failed on both. If you value your car — especially if it’s in good condition — I strongly recommend going elsewhere. Completely unacceptable.

Warning about LUVS Car Wash – 63 Little Cypress Dr., Jacksonville, FL Do not go to LUVS Car Wash. They caused damage to my car and then told me it wasn’t their responsibility because I had already left the parking lot. Their disclaimer sign is off to the side in very small print that’s hard to see or read — and there’s no visible notice at the end of the wash telling customers to check for damage before leaving. When I tried to discuss the issue, the young general manager even laughed about it. Very unprofessional. Just a warning to others — be careful before you take your car there.
