Had a great experience with Sergio and his mechanics. Was in Great Smoky Mountains when the message to add coolant lit up, was in a hurry when adding a small amount of coolant to the breaking fluid reservoir before realizing the mistake. Called around and found Lux Auto Center in Knoxville. They were kind enough to fit us that same day and did a complete flush of the system. Thank you guys!

I have a 2005 Sprinter RV van and was on a trip, heading south from Detroit. I stopped in Knoxville for a few days and had a mysterious intermittent starting issue resurface while there. I found Lux Auto Center and was delighted to hear of their expertise with Sprinter repairs. Serghei the owner was very astute in diagnosing the issue which pointed to the ECU and also oil contamination of the transmission control unit. Other shops were not able to make a proper diagnosis over the past two years, and it was a big relief to have the issue finally taken care of . The repairs were very reasonable priced and timely performed. Everything about the business is very professional and it was a pleasure to interact with people who are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

I have a 2007 Sprinter that 3 shops couldn't diagnose what was causing the intermittent turbo underboost issue sending the engine into limp mode. This is extremely dangerous when trying to pull out into traffic to find you just lost power with fast moving traffic bearing down on you! Most shops I called declined to even try or said it would be several weeks to even take a look, and I'd need to leave my van there the entire time. Frustrated, I researched how to diagnose it myself and spent 100+ hours replacing common parts with no success. I literally drove 550 miles from Detroit to Knoxville with the hope that Sergei could get me in and out quickly.
