Recently, I was involved in my first accident in early August. Although I was cited, the accident was not my fault. It was a four-car collision caused by a driver who swerved to exit the freeway in front of us. The car behind me was tailgating, which left me and the car in front of me sandwiched with nowhere to swerve—there was construction and bottlenecked traffic in the left lane and a cement wall on the right.
