Maaco Auto Body Shop & Painting

I paid for a full-body paint job. They did not paint the roof of my vehicle. After two weeks, I have paint chipping on my hood. They did not fix the bumper the clear coat finish with only one layer.

I took my car to have the bumper repaired and had to let them know twice that it wasn’t repaired properly. They also left the inside of my car filthy! When I asked them about why they thought it was acceptable to return my car in that condition, I was told they don’t have mat or seat liners and they’ve been requesting this from corporate but they haven’t been able to get them. The second time I picked up my car, the mats were left dirty again and I was told, “there’s nothing I can do about that.”

I was recommended to Maaco by a well known local body shop. I went that Thursday afternoon, and left with an appointment for a total sand down, paint and clear coat the following Monday. The guys were very friendly and easy to work with as they explained the entire process to me and helped me pick the perfect color for my repaint. They promised my car by the end of the week, and even kept good on their promise to send me pictures as the work progressed each day. The car is flawless!! The paint job is impeccable. I would, and have, recommended them to everyone who was following along with this adventure on my social media.

Chad was great and straight forward. He took a look at my car and laid out my options and how much it would cost. My 2008 Honda Civic was suffering from clear coat failure and was starting to look terrible even though it drove like new. You have to set your expectations appropriately. I paid for a cheap paint job, and got a quick, cheap paint job that looks so much better than before. Some defects that I found are that all my keyholes got painted, my tail pipe was painted, parts of my front lip were painted, and there was some overspray on my back left wheel. Overall, I am happy, and would do it again. The quality of work matches the price paid, and my car looks almost like new. I dropped my car off on a Monday morning and got it back on Friday afternoon.
