Summary of my review: Take your vehicle here and trust that John will operate with honesty and integrity. He may very well be the friendliest mechanic you will EVER meet! I am a skeptical person when it comes to purchasing goods or services, so when I look for a place to take our family vehicle in to for a diagnostic I am thorough in my search, and John at Macedone Auto Repair did not disappoint. He actually exceeded my expectations (which are by no means low). My wife and I arrived in Ogden after a long road trip to find our vehicle to be making a very loud scraping metal noise with nothing dragging on the ground when I took a look under. My car died on the freeway and it happened to be brought here. John did an amazing job. When he found out what was wrong he went above and beyond to fix my car so I wouldn't have to scrap it. If I lived closer I would make him my go to mechanic.

We ended up without brakes on the highway at about 7:30 PM. Jon and his son helped us find a tow company, and met us at his shop. He fixed the caliper, tightened the other calipers, balanced the tire, tightened the loose lug nuts in all the wheels. I will be sending our family members to him for their repair needs. We are so grateful for his help and his willingness to make sure we were safe to drive home.

Visited about two months ago. I was having a road trip from Toronto Canada to Washington state, and got a urgent flat tire near the place. The owner was super friendly and very informative. He also provided a fair price. Because of his dedication, I could easily finish the trip. Will definitely visit here if I ever pass this area.

They were willing to help us in our time of need and get our car fixed without a second thought! At times, the experience felt almost too good to be true, but they never disappointed!
