In 1980 MADMAN's MUFFLER opened and I was hooked! Pat and Mike were 2 cool Bikers who came to Visalia from down south and I started off being one of their 1st customers lowering my car and many of my friends cars (1980 was cruising at its best) over the years I found that they were the most upfront and honest mechanics around which is a rare find. After Mike's passing Pat kept the machine rolling and continued to build a very loyal customer base of which are all happy to have him still open and still has the straight up no B.S. brand of customer service I can't st srress enough! To this day I still take my cars to Pat which has gone from trusting mechanic to good friend. Pat I hope you never retire! This is BALDMIKE aka Dude

I had been looking for a good honest mechanic for a long time. I found one at Mad Mans Muffler. Don't let the name fool you. They do much more than just mufflers. I would recomend, and have recommend, this place to anyone who needs an honest well done job.

The guys were very nice and respectable. They did a though job and kept me Infordmed on how it was coming along. was very nice to feel appreciated. I would recommend them for any auto repair you got on your wheels.

Owner helped me attempt to comply with CA Regs. Very helpful but despite his best efforts, only a Ford part qualified. Ford no longer makes the part. I do appreciate his trying because he was honest from the start. It was a long shot that CA would allow the after market product used in the rest of the country.

I called these guys to have them do a simple bolt-on installation of a pair of parts that I've ordered, they declined saying they won't install customer ordered parts because people too often have ordered the wrong parts. Basically they assumed I don't know what I'm talking about because other people in the past have screwed things up while in fact I know exactly what I'm talking about as I've spent weeks researching these parts and have confirmation from the manufacturer that they're correct for my car as well as documentation confirmation that they are compliant with state laws, it was insulting. Even if I had brought the wrong parts they could've just said- these are the wrong parts - and not installed them, maybe these guys just don't like money.
