Makoa Rental Car Maui

Great local car rental in Maui. Pick and drop off was easy at the airport parking lot. We had a full size pickup and needed a smaller one and they were able to accommodate and exchange for a smaller Tacoma the same day. Both cars were in great shape. We exchanged it as it was too large for my need. Much cheaper and good car value than airport car rental companies. Highly recommended!

We'll most definitely use this company again. Everything was, as they said it would be. Everything from the car pickup to the car return and was easy and straightforward. I included a few pictures to show that the car is left in a well marked spot. Easy to find along with the keys with a lockbox and a combo to get in and access the key. I only had one question for them before I arrived, and they responded within an hour.

5 stars all around! Great rates, plus easy and convenient pick-up and drop-off at the airport. They have a support team that actually listens and addresses any issues you may have. I had an issue with the car, and they were quick to offer a replacement. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for rentals while in Maui!

We had a great experience with Makoa Rental Car Maui. Our car was available right outside of arrivals at the airport - no need to take a shuttle or train. Communication was clear and timely. We rented a midsize sedan to save cost and it was perfectly adequate for our time driving all over Maui. Roads are well paved and cared for to any destination meant for visitors. You do have to pay a $24 parking fee to exit the airport, but this was communicated by the company multiple times, including during booking. No surprises there. We’d definitely rent with Makao on the future.

The folks at Makoa Rental Car in Maui helped to make this one of my best vacations yet! After a bleary-eyed total of 12 hours of travel, getting my rental car was a snap. The directions provided by Makoa Rental were clear, detailed, and accompanied by helpful pictures and diagrams. And the rental return was just as easy! Kind of shocking, actually. And definitely the most pleasant car rental experience I've had in my many years of travel.
