~ My twins were literally stuck in reverse at night on campus and had to call roadside assistance to get towed to this awesome mechanic shop! Dan and his team were overwhelmingly helpful and caring. They spoke to me with understanding so they could diagnose the problem accordingly. In less than 12 hours, I received a call that they resolved the issue quickly, had the parts, test drove her and that their jeep was ready to be back on the road. Dan & I had a great conversation making me feel very comfortable with his work. We now have a home mechanic until they graduate @ FAMU a couple and a half years from now! Ben is a great guy! He came by on his way home to help out my daughter at FSU. Diagnosed it on site and then we towed it to his shop and it was fixed quickly and affordably. Look nowhere else he’s your guy.

I wish I had a good experience here, but sadly for me, It took almost a week to diagnose my SUV. I had to call to get an update, said she'd call me back, then I had to call again the next day for update, otherwise it may have been longer. My SUV was stored in a busy side parking lot, instead of inside or the back lot, and my SUV rear body was damaged by a driver. I was informed by the shop of this with no apologies or remorse really, she just gave me drivers info. It makes me question how long my SUV sat in that side lot with all the time they took to diagnose it while not calling me. I've never had my vehicle damaged in the custody of a mechanic shop so I arranged a tow the next day they were open instead of moving forward with the repairs. For new customers looking for a good mechanic, don't be put off by the location and the appearance of this garage. You're not buying clean and spotless. You are buying mechanical expertise and experience. The owner / mechanic is too busy servicing his customers vehicles to have the time to tidy up the place. (Keep in mind it's a one mechanic operation.) His knowledge about numerous vehicles, makes and models, translates into his being a walking / talking service manual about your vehicle. We live in the Midwest and our daughter goes to school in FL. She was stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire. We had called Triple A and they were absolutely no help for four hours!!! We called Maner for help and Ben (I think he's the owner/manager) changed her tire and sent her on her way in less than five minutes. He was very nice, caring, efficient, and professional. He really set our mind at ease. He did not even charge my daughter (we did compensate him later for his time and trouble, although he did not ask for it).
