Took amazing care of my Barbie car. Great waiting area. Welcoming & cozy. Unlimited coffee, coke a cola & TV. Awesome memorabilia & the bathroom is a must see (heated auto seat). I'm bummed to have to leave this review but it's important for others to know. The owner at Marin British, Fred, kindly helped me repair my car after many issues arose with a smog check, which I was very grateful for. Among many many other repairs, ultimately, my car needed a full valve job. Unfortunately, the after market head gasket that Fred's team used failed. Due to Fred's busy season, Fred has been unable to schedule me to fix the job (under warranty) and will not send me the insurance information to have it done elsewhere. I've been following up for 8 months while oil was leaking from the head gasket. With thousands and thousands of dollars in the hole, ultimately, I'm having to pay those thousands again to have the head gasket replaced at another, more specialized shop. Doubly unfo

Dropped of my car to have a check engine light diagnosed. Was called and told they went ahead and changed the spark plugs for $500 but that that wasn't the issue and that I needed to consent to an additional $800+ replacement of the crankshaft sensor. Under California law, it is illegal to bill someone for work performed without consent. Strongly recommend this shop be avoided.

We have been using Fred and his team for many years.Pricing is transparent and they have helped us when we were in a bind to get things done immediately. Simply a great place if you need anything done on a Land Rover...
