Marin Mazda Service

Terrible car service and terrible customer service. Took them 3 weeks to diagnose faulty electric switch in 6 month old mazda cx50 then told me part would take 3 months. No apology and no offer of loaner car. Mazda Corporate CS got part expedited in 4 weeks after multiple phone calls but this service department couldn't be bothered to try that. Corporate reimbursed 400 of 1000 rental car; paid by me for only 10 of 21 days they had my new (lemon) car.

Bought my Miata from them 1.5 years ago and have found very good service each time I've had it in for oil change etc. Renaud in the service department used to work for Jeep in Corte Madera and we knew him then. He is always friendly and helpful and they are great at getting me a quick Uber ride home.

Marin Mazda is excellent! Gabe was the most helpful sales person around! He goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction which made the buying experience easy! Richard in finance was also delightful and extremely helpful explaining everything in my purchase agreement! Could not recommend Marin Mazda more!

I bought my Mazda 3 from Marin Mazda-Subaru in 2016. A few years after my purchase, the Mazda part of the dealership broke away from the Subaru part and took over a Mitsubishi dealership a few blocks away. Initially, things at the new Marin Mazda were rather chaotic, with frequent personnel changes, and the service experience wasn't the best. But I stuck with them over the years and I'm happy to report that they've really gotten their act together, and my experience there has continued to improve with each visit. Recently, I took my car in for an oil change and scheduled maintenance, and I'm quite pleased with how things went. My Service Advisor was Michael Vargas, who was a pleasure to work with and had the patience to answer all of my many questions. I also dealt with Oscar Menendez
