I was new to the area and needed a mechanic to swap a blown motor. I brought it to Mascoma Auto because they were able to get me right in, and it seemed like a good place to go. Other shops around were booked and couldn't schedule me in for several weeks. Unfortunately, they ended up putting in the wrong engine. I had to bring it back to get the proper engine installed. Yet, they seemed annoyed at ME because of THEIR mistake. They finally fixed the issue, but the lack of customer service and below average competence of the mechanic were so bad I never went back. They also charge a 100% upcharge on parts (if the part costs them $100, they will charge $200 to the customer). Unbelievable. I found another local auto shop that actually cares about customers and doesn't screw them over.

I had a great experience with Mascoma Auto. I bought a 2020 used GMC truck at a fair price and the service was very good. I appreciate a small business like this trying to make a living and do right by people. Shout out to Li for his great work.

Nice garage. Been going there for years. Reasonable rates. They do good work. And they are honest to me at least.

We Purchased a Toyota Tacoma yesterday. Before I got home, we discovered the steering is very loose, the radiator has leaks that were attempted to be hidden with a silver liquid to plug the leaks, and very bad, unsafe brakes. Yes this is after test driving it, 2 days before.

Doing business was simple. The car was within our price range and the payments too. They had us jump through a few more hoops than we were looking for but it still went smooth. The sales man wasn't pushy. He was helpful though. We may be repeat customers. Depends hasnt been 30 days yet and are already havin issues since 4 days in. The only problem we had was the check engine light coming on 4 days after we brought it home. Went and brought it back up and they did something with the gas cap. It came on four days later with a change oil dinging now too. Waited a week to get a loner and get it fixed. Haven't had it a month yet. We did everything they requested to get the car, a trade in and cash. It's worth a look into if you need a used car without a bunch of hassle, but have a mechanic chec
