Matt's Automotive

I am staying with a relative in the area during the quarantine and needed an oil change and tire rotation. Matt was very friendly and honest with me, delivering same-day service when I did not expect it. The total cost was a little higher than I expected but probably the price you pay for synthetic oil. I will definitely return if I need auto repair in Chatham and recommend Matt’s Automotive highly to those in the Chatham/Harwich area.

Needed some major work done in my area, Matt's came up immediately in a Google search. I was told they aren't taking new customers. OK. My daughter has been there, my husband has been there, I was there a long time ago, so apparently they aren't taking old customers either. Maybe they should advertise that you need to have an interview and references before they decide if they want your money. I wanted to keep it small business/local. Ended up at Midas instead. They took my $2.5k no problem and did an incredibly outstanding job on a Saturday while I waited. #RIP #ChrisClark. You were an absolute gem in the rough, and are sorely missed.

Being from out of state, we originally went to Matt's based partially on reviews that we read online. After a positive experience with their work on our 2006 Grand Caravan in Jan of 2021, we did not hesitate to use them again when our 2010 Subaru Forester needed emergency repairs to it's exhaust system today. To sum up: nice people doing quality work at reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend Matt's Automotive to family and friends. Thomas W. NJ

I have had several instances of requiring automotive service during trips to Chatham, and have had excellent experiences with Matt's Automotive. I have found them to be unfailingly honest. On at least two occasions they very easily could have performed and charged me for expensive work that I thought might be necessary, but which they determined was not required. Had they done so, I would not have known the difference; but they chose to do -- and did -- the right thing. In addition, I have found them to be fair, caring, helpful, and very nice to deal with. I recommend them without hesitation

I must write a review after seeing some of the other reviews. In my experience Matt's Automotive Service has been absolutely stellar. My mom and dad and I have done business with Matt for years. I took my first car to Matt to have it checked out before I bought it. Matt was great and pointed out what things might have to be fixed but that he thought it was a good car. My parents always go to Matt with their vehicles both for oil changes as well as repairs. In fact though my parents recently have traded their vehicles Matt kept them road-worthy for over 200,000 miles each. My family and I have total confidence in Matt and his staff.
