Matt’s auto shop is impeccable! I live in California & my son is in Seattle. He took me to tour the town and his 2018 Mazda 6 was in bad shape. I searched for reasonable prices to evaluate the car and in the end I just took a chance. Matt’s auto shop spent a good amount of time fixing the car once. My son is over the moon on the workmanship and performance of the car today. I can honestly say Matt’s auto shop will be the shop that does repairs for my son in Seattle. Thank you for your expertise.

Service is slipping. They have been very reliable in the past, but this last visit they really let me down. The intake person failed to take adequate notes when I described the problem. That led to them not even looking into one problem and not understanding the sporadic nature of another problem. They wasted time trying to diagnose an incovenience instead of looking into a brake system issue. Really? Not gonna return soon.

I’ve been bringing my Subarus and Toyotas to Matt’s for years. They have always done good work for reasonable prices.

I recently had my 2007 Toyota 4Runner serviced here and I can confidently say that it was the best experience I have ever had at an auto care/auto repair shop. They were kind, courteous, and patient, and helped me understand what they would do on my vehicle. Overall a great experience and fairly priced for the curated experience.

I'm really torn here. I like Matt's a lot. I've been bringing my car here for 5 years for regular maintenance and inspections. They've always been friendly, professional, timely, and honest. If you want the best, these guys are it. I've come to realize, however, that the price just isn't competitive. Their quotes for jobs are regularly hundreds of dollars more than other mechanics. With so many great mechanics in the area, it's really difficult to stomach the price.
