⸻ I brought my car to Mavis Discount Tire on Sunrise Highway in Bayshore for a routine service (state inspection and oil change). What I got back was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. • They broke my windshield • They returned my car with the check engine light ON, which was not on when I dropped it off • They caused or failed to notice a serious oil leak • Fluids were clearly not checked, despite being told they would be After picking up my car from Mavis, I immediately took it to the Kia dealership to have it inspected. The Kia service manager was speechless. The car was leaking oil badly, had little to no fluids, and was returned to me in an unsafe condition with the check engine light on. This is unfortunate because I live so close to them. They "Balanced my wheels" recently but I found a random weight in the center of the wheel. After a decent time of feeling like they never fixed the vibration issue near 35mph I decided to investigate, and this is what I found. This is the second time This Mavis shop has done me wrong.. The first time, I got brakes and an oil change. It turns out they never changed the oil, and I found out after realizing what really occurred. Oil burned away till it got low enough to feelnlike a roller coaster.. They need to figure something out because this is wrong of all kinds of levels.
Tommy and Erick were friendly and welcoming. They squeezed me in for an oil change and 4 new tires an hour before closing. They explained any additional services I did or didn’t need and I’ve left feeling better informed about my car. Thank you!
Got my car repaired at the Mavis Tire on Sunrise Highway in Bayshore recently. THEY did fantastic work. Both Tom and Eric along with the crew that worked on my car to get it fixed worked diligently and thoroughly to get everything right. Went the extra mile and communicated to me what needed to be done with an honest professional opinion with absolutely NO buyers remorse. 5 star place you have here.
Joel is amazing!! He personally installed my air filter and changed my break fluid. Highly recommend!!
