Mavis Discount Tire

Called at 6 PM on a Thursday after realizing our Tesla Y front tire was losing pressure because of a nail. The tread of our front tires were down to its last few miles anyway and is due for change. Called a few places but all were requiring to order tire first and come back the next day or make an appointment. Came across Mavis at Ridgefield Park on Google search and gave em a call. Raja was very accommodating and said “come on down!”. Their prices were fair and comparable to a local tire shop by us that didn’t have our tire. They were able to take us in right away and you can see them work on the car from the waiting area. We were in and out in less than an hour. They made an otherwise inconvenient experience somewhat tolerable with their efficiency and professionalism. Shout out to Barry

Incident: I had a complete breakdown on the highway, a deep pothole destroyed the front driver & passenger side sway-bar endlinks and struts, front driver side rim and tire, rear driver side tire. My car was towed to the above shop for service and repair on 02/01/2026, struts, tires, and endlinks were ordered by store #509. I had to order new rims which would take 2 days to get delivered to me on 02/05/2026. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. UNPROFESSIONAL. AVOID THIS PLACE. I bought 4 new tires on Amazon and made the huge mistake of choosing Mavis on Rte 46 in Ridgefield Park for the installation. When I picked up my vehicle, I was told that the mechanic had tried calling me to essentially upsell me on additional services, which I of course declined. I also immediately noticed the “new” tires were very dirty, and appeared to be USED. I took pictures of the tires and told the manager the tires looked used. He got very defensive and ludicrously tried to claim the dirt was from driving the car 25 feet after install. Honest people do not conduct themselves this way. Both Barry and Roger have been super helpful in desperate “time of need” when I got a flat on Rte 46 and I got stuck at a gas station waiting for AAA. I called them and they ordered me the right brand and size tire for my car to be ready when AAA drops the car off. And Anthony and Jose the mechanics were great technicians who removed the flat, remounted, rebalanced, and fixed up my busted tire.
