I had a great experience at Mavis! They fixed my two front brakes and replaced all four tires, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The team took the time to educate me on how to properly care for my vehicle, which I really appreciated. Everything was done in a timely manner, and I left feeling confident and well taken care of. BEWARE! I went for a wheel alignment and rotation which I had a morning appointment for. I was told that they were backed up and it would take longer than I was willing to wait in store...ok fine, so I went home to do some other tasks. While waiting, I receive a call that my shocks/struts needed replacement, which I agreed to. When I finally picked up my car, that Saturday afternoon, I was also told that I am in need of new tires, which I declined, drove straight home (7 minutes away) and did not drive on Sunday. That Monday while driving to work there were odd sounds when turns and a jerky unresponsiveness when pressing the gas pedal. I brought in my car with the intention of installing used rims I found online. I requested new tires and unfortunately I chose a size that was too large. I didn't realize this until the next day and was concerned with having to repurchase a whole new set. Mavis of West Haverstraw addressed my concerns and were absolutely driven in making things right even though it was a mistake I've made. They allowed me to exhange my newly bought tires for a smaller set without any extra charge to me. Both times I brought my car in, the work was done in a reasonable amount of time. It's been almost a week with my new set of tires and I'm absolutely satisfied with my purchase and their customer service. My wheel fitment is perfect now and my car drives so much better.
