Had a leak in one of my tires and tried to get the tire patched. Jeff and Zack informed my wife and I of the tires condition and left the choice up to us to decide what we wanted to do. Jeff also found a nail in another tire while making repair. Highly recommend Mavis for work. Service was quick and professional.
I had to get new tires this weekend. Josh and his staff were amazing. Josh took the time to explain our options and provide suggestions/ recommendations. It was a super easy experience and my car was ready in less than an hour. I highly recommend Mavis in Surf City for all your car care needs.
These guys are awesome! Super helpful and JUMPED to take care of exactly what I needed. I swore the last place I took my car to (last week) didn't patch my driver front. Well, the last place put a temp plug in it, and I caught another nail, but and these guys just patched both without hesitation or extra charge! Def recommend and will be back!
Have gone here a couple times for oil changes because I LOVE how quick and easy it is to make the appt online and drop it off for a fast service but recently I had an brake problem and came in without an appt and they diagnosed the issue and fixed it perfectly within a couple hours. Everyone was super friendly and professional and helpful. I cannot rave about Gia enough. She was so patient dealing with my questions and ignorance and explained everything so thoroughly. It’s exceptional customer service like hers that creates lifetime customers!
The “Check Engine” light came on in my wife’s 2020 Mercedes-Benz E350. There was no noticeable effect on drivability, but we decided to have a professional take a look at it anyway. We live in Hampstead, so we usually go to Quik Tech or Topsail Auto for stuff like this simply because they are so close to our house. However, both those businesses are closed on the weekends, so I decided to try my luck with Mavis up in Surf City. Josh (the manager), Josh (the mechanic), and everyone else I interacted with there were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They hooked up the car to their diagnostics computer, produced a multi-page detailed printout of the results, and then Josh (the manager one) explained it to me in a way that I easily understood.
