Went to this guy to get a timing chain replacement done and he charged me 300 extra bucks for the parts and kept asking my mom who scheduled the replacement with him for more money for this part and that part, spent about 2500 total and he finished almost a week after he said it would be done just for more issues to continue popping up in the almost 2 months after he touched my car. He put the wrong kind of coolant in the car, didnt fill up the coolant, i have 2 new engine codes for lean fuel mixture, and today me and my dad went to replace the serpentine belt, and what is an easy job turned into 30 minutes of headache trying to loosen the tensioner, which we are still unable to do. This is my first experience going to a non professional mechanic shop and i learned my lesson.

Came out on a Sunday picked me up and diagnosed my car issue unfortunately we have to get a new engine. Will likely give this work to Mark would highly recommend if you’re in the area you’re passing through and need some emergency car work.

Max is the best! My wife’s van broke down while I was running a trail race in Charlotte, about 300 miles from home. Max came out on a Sunday to diagnose it then towed it to his shop. Since we live so far away we had to leave the vehicle for close to two weeks before we could get back to get it. Max communicated regularly and we always knew what was going on with the vehicle. Excellent work, excellent service, excellent communication!
