Be very careful with this car shop because they are cheaters. I took my car there for a transmission replacement, as the transmission I bought was used they didn't give me any warranty, not even on their job, so they did it in a very negligent way. At that time I was hand-tied because my car and the very heavy transmission was at this shop already. Next day after we picked the car and brought it back home we found a big puddle of transmission fluid, we took the car back. They said it was just some fluid remains from the transmission change but it continued happening. We decided to take the car to another shop specialized in transmissions. They said Max Garage forced the transmission in and broke a connecting part at the top of the transmission, this big crack was causing the leak. Of

Great group of folks. I went to school with most of them.

My truck bumping when driving it so I took it to Max's to let them check it out. He asked if I could leave it with him so I said yes not knowing that he was going to keep it overnight. The next day when I went to pick it up he said that I needed all these front end parts replaced and that it would cost over a 1,000 dollars to fix it. I declined the repair and he says I owe him a 75.00 for checking it out! When I dropped it off he didn't say anything about a fee to check it out and there were no signs in the building saying anything about a diagnostic fee. I then took my truck to NTB in Huntsville and they said I had a broke belt in one of my tires and I just needed a new set. I put on a new set of tires and my truck has been driving fine ever since. Max is great with diesels. He replaced our Dodge 3500’s clutch. It started slipping under load due to a manufacturing defect. He was after the manufacturer right away, got us an even heavier duty clutch & got it all fixed up, no cost to us. when my honda’s wiper ripped off in the middle of a driving rain on a dusky highway, scaring the heck out of me as it left me blind, he fixed & explained the problem for only 20 bucks & it’s never happened again!

I would give less then one star if I could. He seemed like a very kind and down to earth person but he ripped me off and lied to me. I may not be a mechanic but I know that the replacement of a battery is not what causes a transmission to mess up. I had an employee come to me later and tell me everything that really happened. I would suggest that if you have other options take them please.
