Max took me in last minute my cv axle broke and he was so accommodating as I had to go pick the part up as he removed my damaged cv axle he is truly an amazing mechanic I needed him to come through in a emergency repair and he came through and also only charged me a hour labor I highly highly recommend this shop !!!!

I have never had a problem with max car has always ran good been going to him for over 20 yrs all my cars has ran great he has been the only guy that has kept my cars running don’t know what I would do without him you don’t find to many honest stand up guys who stands behind there work and don’t try to break your pockets

I was referred to Max by a good friend of his who has done work for him for over 20 years so of course I though I could trust him. I DROVE my car to his lot on may 12 to have a new engine installed. He had my car for 3 months. Never once called me to notify me of any issues or progress. I had to call him to check in just to find out what was going on with my car. I called once and he told me the first engine he put in was bad. We ordered another one. He put the second engine in and when I called him to check in notified me that the second engine started but was running "rough".I spoke to two other mechanics who told me to go check on my car myself because the chances of all these engines being bad were hard to believe. I’ve been going to Max’s for years now.. even before Max’s when the Puerto Rican guys has it . But I can say maxwell and Sylvester does great work.. reasonable prices and work done in a timely manner.. hands down the best shop in the city(in my opinion) ..

I dropped my vehicle by 9:30 and before 12 it was done. Fair pricing. Kind staff.
