Mazda Service

I received a targeted coupon for a free oil change so I scheduled an appointment and went to the dealership service center. Despite the email being sent in mistake (still no idea what happened), the manager honored the coupon nonetheless. The service took <1 hour and everything went well. Would definitely come back for future Mazda related services.

At first I was happy with this dealership but recently they started increasing the maintenance prices outrageously high. They quoted me $450 to replace the brake pads for a Mazda Miata and that's for only fron brakes! Parts department is the main issue with these prices. If I knew maintenance prices like that I would just buy a BMW. Why would I waste my time on a Mazda.

I purchased my 2025 CX-50 here in March and had a joyful buying experience. Unfortunately, the vehicle was broken into in April, and I had to bring it in for service to repair the window and frame, as well as to clean up the broken glass inside. I picked up the car today and noticed several scratches on the interior. Despite bringing in a nearly brand-new vehicle, the service team refused to take responsibility for the damage. The manager suggested I contact my insurance company and DISSMISSED me from the shop when I questioned the quality of their work—claiming that, based on his 25 years of experience, the scratches couldn’t have resulted from the cleaning process, despite the fact that they weren’t there before. In short, this place charges a 2-3% fee if you use a credit card. No heads up given before the appointment. I don't recall if they charge a fee for debit. Regardless, who carries a checkbook or much cash on them nowadays. Furthermore, I prefer to use credit cards for my personal bookkeeping and cash rewards. I'm simply astonished at this poor and alienating choice.

I called early this morning for some help to find a part I needed for my car, and Steven at the Parts Desk was really helpful! I don't know much about cars, but he helped me feel at ease and took the time to explain how I could find the information he needed so he could help me. Once I arrived, he knew right away I was the caller from earlier and got me what I needed in 5 minutes. Thank you so much, Steve:)
