McDonough Hyundai Service & Parts

Normally, this is my go to place for the past couple years to get services done on my car. But with my most recent experience, I will not be coming back here ever again, and will drive over an hour to go to another Hyundai dealership. I had scheduled an appointment 10 days out For an oil change and a service recall, since I had gotten a notice in the mail. I had booked my appointment online and put that I was going in there for a service recall and oil change as well so they were informed. When I arrived, I had to wait several minutes for someone to assist me and finally when someone could help, I told him that I would be waiting for my car. I waited over four hours for my car with no updates or time estimate, just to be told that they didn’t have the part in for my recall, and I would ha

Charged me 8 hours of labor for service (after doing some researching) that should only take about 2.5 hours. They charge $250 an hour. I wanted my car back and these guys saw huge dollar signs and didn't hesitate. They WILL take advantage of you. Also, to top it off... the trunk now rattles, something it never did. Buyer BEWARE. Typical greedy dealership at work.

I tried to make an appointment a week before I wanted the vehicle serviced. There was a promise of someone getting back within 12 hours. 5 days later I've heard nothing except a fob off every day by the messenger service. Having now read the reviews on here, it is obvious this dealership has many problems. As such, there is no way I'm taking my vehicle to McDonough Hyundai and having them put their hands on it. The whole experience has been utterly unprofessional. Update: So the dealership replied, see below, and still can't grasp that I haven't visited because they didn't confirm the service appointment. Instead, another b/s couldn't careless response.

I have been coming for 2 years and they have went through multiple managers and staff ! THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! THEY CAN NEVER DO ANYTHING RIGHT! I would have to come back & type a paragraph to explain EVERYTHING they put me through! JOSH their service manager… don’t let me get started!!! THIS PLACE IS A CIRCUS AND JUNGLE & if it wasn’t for me buying my car here & having to get it service … I WOULD NEVER COME HERE!!!!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME BECAUSE I PROMISE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED EVERY SINGLE TIME

I have to say the ease of scheduling, comfortable waiting area, and top notch service made this an excellent experience. Highly recommend you give them an opportunity to service your vehicles needs.
