I suspicion this guy only cares about money and doesn’t care about his customers. He acted stupid and not helpful at all when we were having transmission overheating. Told us we needed a new transmission. Upon advice from elsewhere we washed intercooler out and had no more trouble.

Price gouger. I called about having front brakes done on my RV, and was quoted $1,600 - $1,900 !!! I had them done at Ziem's Ford in Farmington for $380.

Mike and his guys are absolutely hands-down the best in Durango for any car service! They are very knowledgeable and professional! McNeal’s took my Jeep repair seriously and they will not install just any part. But the right parts. You guy’s are the best. I won’t go anywhere else! Is you need anything go see McNeal’s

Avoid, avoid, avoid!!! McNeals has some of the most terrible customer service I've seen for auto mechanics in Durango, and that's saying something. From the owner Mike down, these guys won't return your calls, they will not help you get your truck fixed, they will not answer any questions without getting defensive. If competence, customer service, and cordiality are important to you, then call the next place. These clowns don't have it. Run and then keep running.

While traveling cross country (Oregon to Florida), we were approaching Durango, CO when our Ford F-350 AC became intermittent. We called half-dozen auto repair shops there, all of which were booked 3 weeks out! We finally called McNeal’s Automotive, and owner John worked us in the next morning at 8am. We had tickets for the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge RR train ride. Employee Joseph offered to give me a ride to the train station after I dropped off the truck, and then to drop it back there after they fixed it. This was incredible customer support in a day and age when it’s so hard to find. I’m sure McNeal’s was booked like the rest of them, but he made time for us. We are so grateful. Please go see McNeal’s Automotive when you need repairs!
