I would recommend going here for car issues 10/10. The service is WONDERFUL. Pops attended to me quickly and gave me a lot of great advice about a few questions that I had. Fast service in the bay. I have never felt like a mechanic cared about my worries outside of what they were getting paid for but Pops was curious, helpful and even did a little research to narrow down possibilities about the issue my car was having. Good prices, clean lobby. It was a great experience.

I brought my car in for an issue they believed was fixed, but when the problem continued, they welcomed me back and spent significant time diagnosing it until they found the real cause. Pops stood behind their work and made it right without hesitation, which says everything about their integrity. If you want a shop that will take care of you and stand behind what they do, this is the place to go.

I've been using M.E. Gene Johnson Garage for both my primary vehicles for the past few years. The owner / operator (Pops) is one of the best I've ever experienced when it comes to customer service and knowledge / vehicle diagnostics. His guys know what they're doing and the price is always reasonable. Honest and straightforward!

Took my ‘22 Nissan Altima in for diagnostics, AC quit working. Quoted me $750 to replace motor blower/resistor block, requiring a full day of my car in the shop. Turns out it was a blown fuse, fixed in 1 hour at a different local mechanic for fraction of the price. Pops in the office was great! I question the honesty of the 2 guys running tests in the shop.
