Mears Automotive - Driven by 1 Stop Auto Shop

They are always prompt. I’ve been going to Mears for many years. Kind and courteous. I trust their judgment. I first took my daughter’s car expecting a repair well over 1500$ as was quoted from another repair / maintenance shop. They evaluated and fixed for under 200$ without any problems. I trusted them since. I’ve referred many family and friends.

I called for an estimate on a multi functioning switch. The person on the line didn't even know what I was talking about. Said something about oh the same person that Jason gave a estimate to on something else. My husband took the vehicle over and was quoted an estimate over over 2,500 without even coming out looking at the vehicle. Other auto shop quoted 200.00 dollars for the same work and knew want part was needed.

I called about some simple carburetor work on my Chevy G20 van, and they acted like they could not work on it because it’s been turned into small camper in back. Makes no sense it’s the size of any normal Chevy van of that type. It’s a couple inches taller, but have never had a shop tell me no for service to it. It’s same Chevy truck motor, body, and frame. I’ve taken a few vehicles here and super disappointed.

I have had many service visits ti Mears for routine and mechanical issues. I have always had excellent service.

Took my vehicle in for a last minute oil change and they provided fast and friendly service.
