Medford Ford Inc Service

I dropped off my Explorer for a specific issue. I was told there was a faulty front axle disconnect and that fixing it would fix the issue. When they called to say my car was ready, I was told there MAY be a problem with the internal transmission. No further details, but I trusted they deemed the car safe to drive. Upon driving the car a new issue arose prompting me to return the car to the service center. The service advisor insisted that they told me there MAY be a transmission issue, which they did, however they didn't actually perform a transmission inspection to be certain and gave me back my car with a potentially very dangerous issue. When I asked the advisor why they would give me my car back with the same issue, he stated "because we don't work on transmissions here." After speak

THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. DON'T TAKE YOUR FORD HERE FOR SERVICE UNLESS YOU'RE READY TO HAVE IT MISSING FOR A WEEK. Our truck was picked up for a recall service Thursday, 01/18 and we were told it would be a one day service and returned by EOD. Received a phone call around 3:30 pm that they weren't able to finish and now the truck would be returned Friday mid-morning. To no fault of anyone, a major snow storm started Friday morning, when we called Ford to find out when we could get a truck back, there was no answer, no one had come to work because of the snow. We called back Saturday only to learn that the service department isn't in on Saturday, only sales. So we're now without our truck with 4 inches of snow on the ground, and 2 kids.
