Meineke Car Care Center

On December 20th at 8 am I left our Nissan Frontier for the Drivability system Testing ($155), which lasted about 3 hr. Then we received a link and chose what we'd want to repair. At 5 pm I got our car back with Replaced Air Fuel Ratio Sensor ($1,146) and Replaced Serpentine Belt ($163). Overall we were satisfied with the service.

I went in this amazing place. Expecting to pay a ton of money. I have to shout out my mechanic TOM. Man you are a God send. !! Your heart and your work here are impeccable. They are lucky to have you working at Meineke. Tammy from the start of me meeting you it was an experience I will never forget. You were kind and very knowledgeable about what was needed. I truly know where I am coming if I need anything else done. Your shop deserves every A+ rating you can get. Thank you so much. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!

Meineke has a very clean waiting area, although it was too warm for comfort. Nice bathroom, too. I came in for a brake inspection. Although I may need some brake work, I DEFINITELY do Znot Need $5,000 of repairs!! When the clerk at the front desk (Tammy) reviewed the mechanic’s findings with me, she was MILITANT about talking over me, cutting me off and correcting EVERY. SINGLE. WORD that I managed to slip in edgewise about my car. She had some good explanations about brakes, and some ridiculous ones. Like when she said the “paint” wears off the brake pads!!! She also had to ask a co-worker (a man) to explain an issue they claim to see on the rotors, which have only 30K miles on them. While getting my oil changed, one of the employees showed me a picture of a cabin air filter and said mine needed replaced. When I said I would do it myself a girl said that my model involved taking apart the dashboard. So I told them to go ahead. Several days later I saw this same thing on a YouTube video about the scam. After thinking about it I realized they didn’t show me MY air cleaner and if it was so hard to get to how did they do it so fast? I am not against upselling. However, I am against lying. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

The service I received was great, but I am frustrated with the Meineke corporate lack of service for the Meineke app. The local store we nt over board in an attempt to correct the app problem, but their corporation hq is incompetent. Many of the reviews I saw echo the same complaint. That is that the app does not recognize my password, and does not send a n email when the " forgot password" is clicked on. The only help number listed is for complaints, but the person their said she could not help me. Poor corporate support!!!.
