I have gone here for a new muffler and most recently brakes. They fit you into their busy schedule and are extremely personable. These guys are awesome and will have my business with any car issue I have! Don’t wait and give these guys a call to schedule your appointment for car issues!

The workers are very professional. They take the time to explain why the work needs to be done. They also have a system that sends you a itemized list with the cost of each task being done. It also allows you to give consent for the work right from your phone. Phill is a very patient mechanic. He took the time to explain not just to me but also to my very protective children even showing the problem.

I brought my vehicle to Meineke for brakes after having taken it to another shop who quoted me a price without ever looking at the car. I dropped off my car, and after a short time Phil called after test driving and in addition to brakes, called my attention to the engine vibration and recommended replacing the engine and transmission mounts, which I agreed to, and I'm so glad I did! The bonus was the cost with the additional work was less than I was quoted for just brakes at the first shop. My 18 year old car sounds and drives like new. The experience was so positive, I brought the car back the next week for new tires. Honest, reliable and fair pricing. Being new to La Plata, I am happy to have found my "go to" location for all things automotive.

Phil at the Meinike La Plata, MD location took my car in right before a major holiday, replaced the right front axle, including emergency acquisition of a failed critical part, and returned it to me in time for me to make my holiday plans. This shop can perform all the same repairs that your dealership can… However, they give you the small town feel and they remember your name and your face. When money was tight, they were transparent about what repairs needed to be absolutely done in which repairs could wait. When their schedule was full, they still tried to squeeze me in and were always earlier than their estimate and I have never had any problems with the work they have done. This Is a place that you can take your vehicle and you’ll be treated with respect regardless of your knowledge of vehicles. They always explain in detail or in brevity if you need it and give you every option and leave you in control. This is the best Meineke I have been to and the only shop that I will bring my vehicles to! Excellent team and excell
