Mel's Auto Glass

Not impressed with the lack of service and acknowledgment when I walked in their Buttermilk location. No designated place to park, and no one to acknowledge or greet you as a customer. You have to track somebody down. Three stars is generous. I’ll report this to my State Farm agent who recommended them among others.

The guys that came by were beyond great. Professional gentlemen - good at their job. Punctual and quick with the replacement. They were funny and personally too. Have to give them a shout out when shout outs are deserved so this 5⭐️ rating goes to my guys Rob - Micheal B - and Austin. Great job guys! Definitely will be using Mel’s services if I’m ever so “unlucky” to have another windshield crack.

Robin was very helpful. I operate a commercial trucking business, and having a truck down with a broken windshield can negatively affect business. I had scheduled a windshield replacement on Tues evening, and they were able to get us in to replace Weds morning. What really amplified their service, was in the middle of the night Tues, I had another truck get a broken back window. I brought it to the shop along with the other pre-scheduled truck...in hopes that both could get done by the end of the day. Initially, the rear glass was not available, but Robin was able to coordinate with a dealer near by that had the glass in stock. Mel's was able to go pickup the glass, and complete both trucks the same day. Thank you Mel's team. -Bravo 2 Logistics

This company has costed me almost $700 in repairs for something that could’ve been less money and time. While I spent 2hrs at this business I was informed that my defrosters got broke during removal of the glass and that it could possibly be soldered and I informed that if they couldn’t solder the glass, then to replace the glass completely. I also requested images of the broken defroster within this process and have yet to see proof of that. I have spoken with a gentleman named Kevin multiple times also and have been unsuccessful in getting an answer about the situation, and requested the owner to give me a call to discuss further. I wouldn’t recommend this company unless you want time wasted and money.

Um, I called YESTERDAY to see if they could help with a broken rear glass on a newer (2023) vehicle. Much to my surprise, they could, got me in, and replaced my glass within 24 hours. Very reasonably too! Highly recommended. Just wow.
