I took a few of my charging system components in for evaluation & repair. Both were diagnosed to be in working order, I was advised to check other charging system components on the car. We identified the faulty component, Melson had the part in stock which I purchased. Excellent, knowledgeable gentleman got me on the road quickly. Next day turn around on repairing an alternator I can't get a replacement. Knew what was likely wrong and had parts on hand for the repair. Customer for life. Way too cheap. Thanks for the fast alternator rebuild!

Absolutely awesome work! I took the starter or more like remnants, off my 1930 model A to him to get it rebuilt. He knocked it out of the park and for a fraction of a new one. Put it on the car, and it spins so nice. Thanks for helping me keep it around for maybe another 100 years!

Rick does great work rebuilding starters and alternators for cars, trucks, tractors, etc. No matter what I bring him, he usually gets it rebuilt by the next day, a lot of times for less money than a cheap imported aftermarket part from the store or online. It makes sense to me to have a high quality rebuild of my original OEM starter/alternator that will last another 10 or more years rather than rely on a low quality aftermarket part.

I was sketched out about buying an AutoZone/advance alternator since they barely last 3 years. I brought my OEM alternator in the morning and Melson had it up and running just a few hours later. Hassle free repair and was still cheaper than most of the aftermarket alternators out there. Cannot recommend it enough if you have an original alternator, just get it rebuilt or repaired.
