Will always use them for transmissions. Another shop said I needed a new $5k transmission, but Meremec said it was just a solenoid. They fixed it in a few hours, and saved me a lot of money. Jake and Tom are great at what they do, and they put customers over their pay check. I’ll always recommend them to other people.

Had our sons truck towed after they said they’d look at it and received a phone call when the tow truck got there saying they’re not interested in working on this job because the transmission was already out of the truck. Cost me $400 for a useless tow and zero help from them. Jake was rude on the phone offering zero alternative solutions and just sent the tow truck back to our house. Never even looked at the truck. We would’ve paid for whatever the truck needed with zero issues, but they refused to even look at it. Next time let customers know that you have stipulations to whether you will look at or work on a vehicle before someone wastes their time and money towing it to your shop! Zero out of ten do not recommend

Tom is great to work with. This is now my second transmission I've had him rebuild and both times were great experiences. 1999 Jeep Wrangler and 1971 Ford F100.

Tom and his guys are great people! Coming from a bad experience ($1200 lesson) before coming to them I’ll never take a transmission anywhere else! He is very knowledgeable and the price are by far affordable. After two years our jeep is up and running, shifting great. Thank you guys again, best experience I’ve ever had at a business!

Great service! Tom and his team got my pickup fixed in a timely manner. Showed me my broken parts and gave me a good explanation of the details of what and how things went. Highly recommend!!
