Great repair shop that is highly professional, honest, and capable. They got my engine running again when it was dead and none of the cylinders had any compression. Rebuilt the engine without having to replace it and everything is running like new again. They handled a big job that other shops wouldn’t be willing to take on and the work was completed within the promised timeframe. Miguel was very helpful and easy to communicate with. I appreciate the time he took to explain things and answer questions. I never thought I would drive this car again, but thanks to Metric Motors my soul car has been saved. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here and I recommend Metric Motors if you have a major repair that needs to get done on your vehicle, or to anyone who just wants the best for their car. No

This is a great shop with a high degree of professionalism and integrity. Everything they say will happen happened in a timely manner. I had 2 service engine codes related to EVAP leaks and misfires in 2 cylinders. From drop-off to pick-up was basically two work days (drop 9am, pickup next day about 3) and I was called first day with issues and estimate. The final price and estimate were spot-on -- true to their word. Fair pricing too overall This review is two weeks post-work and I've driven to Monterey, San Diego and Palm Springs. The 25 year old vehicle is running great, perfect idle, best gas mileage in my 2 years of ownership and the check engine lights have not returned. Car repair is a daunting leap of faith and requires considerable trust. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend

If I could give 20 stars I would!! These guys are the best. Friendly, honest, and genuine customer service! Though they were fully booked leading up to Labor Day weekend, they took the time to evaluate why my check engine light was on to ensure my weekend travel would be safe. In addition, they diagnosed the problem and let me know it was under warranty and sent me to the dealership. A display of true integrity. I have been to Metric Motors for past issues and they have always treated me with the same professionalism and courtesy, often accessing the problem and letting me drive away without charging me a penny, allowing me to return when I have time to have the vehicle serviced. After driving up from San Diego for a weekend trip, and noticing some concerning things happening with my car on the way after having an oil change the day before, they graciously took a look at it 30 minutes before closing for the weekend and found that my oil filter had failed and I had lost more than 80% of my oil. They were able to replace the filter, fill it up, and keep us safe with peace of mind for the rest of the weekend and my drive back home. I am VERY grateful for them! They were kind, quick, and a true lifesaver even as I’m sure they were ready to head home. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of auto repair or service.

My first time using this company and it was by far the best experience I’ve had with an auto shop, and even dealing with customer service! To say the least, Miguel, Jeremy, and Carlos hooked me up! They fixed the oil leak in my Jaguar XJR 2016 supercharged sports car! I believe they did honest work and made me feel very welcomed, even while I was asking so many questions.
