Incredible experience with Metro Motors and highly recommend the N. Henry and Oronoco Street location. Charles the service manager and Elvis the technician restored my H3 Hummer by fixing the axle shaft, replacing transmission lines, replacing the ignition switch, replacing tie rods, and even got my car detailed before I picked it up. Charles stayed in contact with me to coordinate hard to find parts for my older car, and the work will ensure it will stay running for another 20 years. I didn't quite believe the 5 star hype but after deep experience with other dmv mechanics and several car issues with my precious 2005 and 2012 later...they are genuinely the best to work with - no pressure, no upselling, no long waits, and no games - just professional! They were super accomodating and patient - ran full diagnostics, explained everything clearly, and worked discount magic on the fastest schedule reasonable. Charles and his team are a wonderful asset to the neighborhood. I’ve used Metro Motor several times for regular services (oil change, etc.) and they’ve always been prompt, reasonably-priced, communicative, and helpful. But I really want to emphasize how great they were when I was in a definite pinch (flat on the Beltway - so fun). They fit me in super-quickly, figured out what was wrong, and gave great guidance on what to do next since it was a brand new tire with a road hazard warranty. And Charles put up with my tired Monday-brain questions. Can’t recommend enough.
