I went there with the help of a roadside assistance service because of an air leak; I had broken down on the road. I was there for two days. They fixed one problem but didn't see the issue I had mentioned concerning the air dryer. They let me leave without doing the repair after a $2,000 bill. I asked if they had properly checked under the truck to make sure everything was okay, but no… they added another hour. This morning air pressure was low and warning light is on. Oh yeah, the guy had cut the power to my refrigerator because of an air leak, which caused me to lose my food. Instead of just chatting and suggesting hotels to your clients, you should develop your skills.

All is great except that the washer in the Driver's Lounge is out of service. I got excited to get my laundry done but all turned sour when I realized that the washer is not working. Hopefully this can be fixed ASAP for the next person who needs to use it.

What I received instead was stacked charges, inflated fees, and blatant price gouging that every owner-operator should be aware of. Let’s start with the most absurd charge: $130 just to unhook my trailer. That is not a repair — that is a basic shop function. Charging customers over $100 just to disconnect a trailer is outrageous and sets the tone for how this shop operates. Next, I was billed multiple overlapping diagnostic and labor charges for the same issue. One “triage” led directly into a repair, yet I was charged separately for both instead of having diagnostics absorbed into the repair. Very disappointed with MHC Kenworth – Atlanta. I came in with a fault on my truck and was told to wait because they were “too busy.” I ended up waiting a day and a half before they even started the diagnostics. The diagnostic itself took over 3 hours, and after all that they told me they couldn’t find the problem and suggested I leave the truck with them indefinitely. They charged me almost $700 for a diagnostic that gave me absolutely no real information — the report didn’t even mention a specific issue. I took the truck to another shop right away — they immediately identified the problem as the water pump, replaced it quickly, charged a fair price, and the truck was fixed. Not recommended at all. Cameron D. In the parts department was eager to help get the right part for my truck. I called back in to inquire about another part that I thought was damaged during install and lucky for me it was Cam again. I wish we had more like him in this industry.
