I have been going to my hometown mechanic for years about 2 hours away from where I lived. Moving to the area I was excited to support another family-owned, small town business. Twice now I have attempted to work with them and twice I have been talked down to. This last time I was accused of being a no show in a harsh manner and told I couldn't schedule the appointment that was available. Whoever I talked to assumed I was looking for an earlier appointment (and that I have no showed previously, which isn't true as i showed up to the only other appointment i have made), but had he been curious he would have learned that my husband and I work full time and have a kiddo in a half day preschool. Would totally recommend! On our back to Canada, our car broke down on the highway and all the nearby garages couldn’t help us except them.
