Mid America Cycle LLC

I have been going here for 8 years. I bought a bike from here had repairs. These people Do a great job or knowledgeable and treat you as family. I would not recommend any other store than Mid-America. They have provided me great work. I recently just bought another bike and I will be bringing it to them. I trust them from top to bottom with it.

This shop is AWESOME!!! I was able to bring my bike in on a Saturday at 2pm on a Memorial Day weekend, and they were able to get my rear tire swapped out by closing time at 3pm. The owner is such a sweet and passionate woman, and she spent the entire time having a REAL conversation about important topics. It felt like I knew her my entire life, and I also knew that my bike was in good hands with the mechanic. I have been to motorcycle shops all over the world (I mean that literally), my dad was a Biker and always had a good relationship with our local bike shop in the town that I grew up in, as well as many others in surrounding areas, but I can honestly say that this was the BEST experience I have ever had. Would not recommend for repairs unfortunately. Communication on price is very poor and they start working on your vehicle without the go ahead from the customer. They have a $109/hr diagnostic fee that does not go toward the total cost of repairs, so in theory they could charge $300,$400, $500+ just on the diagnostic. Very risky. In my case, I was quoted a price for total repairs including the diagnostic fee which was higher than I thought, but I paid for the diagnostic so I bit the bullet and went ahead with repairs. When my vehicle was finished, I showed up to the shop and the total cost was double what I was quoted. No communication before hand on what I was being charged for. I have a 1999 KTM 300 EXC, when I bought the bike it was a parts bike; with the help of Mid-Am, It now runs like new. Can’t stress enough how knowledgeable and thorough the mechanic is. If you’re looking for the secrets to ridiculous 2 stroke power, look no further. Also, knowing I’m a college student with low funds, they have always worked with my budget and are quick to help when I walk in with questions and small problems. Cant say it enough, these people are the best!

Just bought a bike from them; couldn't be happier. They insisted on doing a once-over, changed all the fluids, so I'm good to go for a while. Extremely helpful and honest about everything from the start.
