They are professionals here and they are kind and I was able to get everything I needed taken care of thanks to them caring enough to help a grumpy old senior out. I went in for a wheel alignment today after being quoted $149 after a $20 off coupon on the phone. They knew I had a 4 wheel drive vehicle. After saying it would be $202 I said I had a coupon and was quoted $149. He typed it up and said with tax it would be $169. I asked how he got to that number and again he said tax. I pursued it and he finally said it was a $10 service technician charge as well. I said that is crazy that service is always included in the quote. I reluctantly agreed and when the vehicle was done he said the front wheels were aligned and the back wheels were a little off. I was the.n informed that I was charged for a front wheel alignment only and there would be additional cost for the rear wheels. I am beyond disappointed with the service I received at Midas after spending nearly $2,000 to replace all four brakes and rotors and control arm components. Everything that was recommended regarding the breaks was done, and I was looking forward to new brakes. The rear brakes feel just as ineffective as they did before the service and you can literally put the e-brake all the way down and drive as if nothing is holding (old pads had much better grip in comparison). When I returned to have the issue addressed, the shop (one of the ladies) suddenly began identifying additional problems, none of which were mentioned or suggested during the initial repair visit. Incredible service and amazingly helpful people! I had reached out to this location regarding an oil spill after taking my car to the Midas in Torrington and found that my oil cap wasn't placed back on after the service at the Torrington location. Oil was everywhere, all over my engine, air filter, and more. I spoke to Cathy at this Farmington location and explained my situation, she was incredibly helpful, sympathetic, and showed fantastic customer service! After being told by the Torrington location they they wouldn't cover the entirety of cleaning the oil spilt all over under my hood, I had called Cathy again to cancel my spot for a 4:00 cleaning since I wouldn't be able to afford it out of pocket and how the other location wouldn't pay for it either.
