Hi Dan and Eric, I just wanted to say thanks again! This was my second time coming in for my inspection, and both visits have been excellent. I was their on Saturday had a 730 am Appt. I go here when i’m in town i have a new vehicle 23 chevy trailblazer and he puts everything in and proceeds too tell me my oil change is 89.00 dollars. I said i’m it traveling i don’t want synthetic oil im staying in town and i was told i just need regular oil he said .. Verbatim go back too where u got it changed before .. U are getting synthetic here. I proceed too leave . First tho g i hate anyone being rude too me . Secondly he wasn’t the reg man who used too work here i do t know if he quit or was off that day .. Rude for no reason . I do know these places are independtfently owned and they rarely off the coupons only in wisconsin have i paid what the coupon said. I just failed a state inspection from this location for “dry rotted” windshield wipers. My wipers were replaced less than a month ago, the photos included were taken while in their parking lot. They tried charge me $20 for EACH new wiper to which I declined because I just bought wipers. Then he said I could get them fixed and they would reinspect it for free within 15 days. No thanks, I won’t be back here. I’d rather pay another inspection fee to an honest company.

I had my car towed here after issues with my brakes. After diagnosing the problem, I was presented with the cost. I had done research and this was way higher than expected (over double). After getting home, I called a highly rated local mechanic near me and was quote a cost over $500 less. Midas as a whole isn't what it used to be, but there is a reason this particular Midas has a lower rating than those near by. If you're taking your car here, please take a look at earlier comments regarding individuals just trying to get their in-state inspection. I promise you, it's not worth it. Find another place. I arrived at this branch (3607 Westheimer Rd) today at 1:55 pm and went to the counter asking about an oil change. A man working there asked me if I had an appointment. I said no, and without even checking the list, he replied, "We can't see you today. Make your appointment for tomorrow." I immediately went to the website and saw that there was availability from 3 pm today until 5 pm. I'm a long-time customer, and I will never return to this place for anything. How is it possible that they hire people who don't like to work? This is exactly what damages a company's image. Making an appointment isn't mandatory, and no business turns away a customer when they have free time and employees available.
