It was my first time at Midas Irvington, and I can confidently say this is the spot! John, Ralph, and the crew are good people with excellent customer service. At this point, I’m done chasing deals, I’m looking for quality service and customer retention, because that tells me the shop actually cares about the work they do. That peace of mind matters. I ended up getting a pricier set of tires compared to other options out there so my service wasn’t cheap, but I was well aware that I would be paying plus or minus a $1000 going into my appointment. They did a basic diagnostic check for free, which I’ve had to pay for at other shops before. The results were sent via text and included photos, which I really appreciated. I've been coming here for a little while now. So far I haven't had any issues. Make appointments because they are very busy! They get a huge amount of customers because they do great service. They are thorough with inspection and let you know when something urgently needs changing and what can wait. They don't try to scam you and have you pay an arm and a leg for things that you don't need. If you have questions they will explain it to you without being rude or annoyed. The photos they send also help break it down for you to see whats really up with your car for transparency is great. That being said they aren't cheap but that's because they don't do cheap service and give you good parts. Basically you're getting what you pay for. Updating my review. Midas should be everyone's first choice for car service. Ralph made sure I had everything I needed. He updated me as the day went on, assuring that I was receiving top service. John was very helpful. He is truly knowledgeable and answers every question. He works with you to make sure you receive the best possible service, 10/10!!
