Midas

I never had a problem with any Midas until we attempted to do business with the Terre Haute shop. Our son was in town visiting a friend. He got a warning light on his dash that the vehicle was overheating. When he stopped, everything looked normal under the hood. No leaks, no steam, no broken hoses or belt. The vehicle went into limp mode. He had the vehicle towed to Midas. When they looked at it, Brian(manager) told him initially that it could be a sensor that went bad. After further inspection, they "claimed" it needed a new thermostat and housing because they were getting a thermostat code. Brian stated that it would be a 5 to 6 hour job and the total cost out the door would have been nearly $1100. After a couple of phone calls back and forth, Brian stated that "they were refu

Took my car there for Alienment, which I couldn't get do to needing to replace some parts. Needless to say, whatever they did, they made my car worse then it was and I'll never go back again. They made my Ball joints worse then they were, gave me a price of 2,300 to fix everything. I think not, I work on my own shit.

I believe this is my 3rd or 4th time with them in a few years and it's been butter smooth. Name it and its been done by them for my high mileage truck from radiator and thermostat replacements, to multiple abs system diags for a tricky intermittent issue others couldn't solve and more. Zero issues and a hell of an owner if you aren't a disparaging person when you walk through that door. Issues are given straight and if they cannot service them, they have many high caliber recommendations to take care of you elsewhere when needed. It's a solid no fluff/high upsell shop. Thoroughly recommend. 10/10

We were stranded in Terre Haute with coolant issues in our Range Rover, and one of the employees at Midas went above and beyond to help us. He took the time to explain exactly what was going on, gave us clear instructions on what to do, and even helped us get the issue taken care of — all out of pure kindness. He didn’t charge us a thing, just genuinely wanted to help. It’s rare to find that level of honesty and compassion these days, and we’re so grateful. Highly recommend this Midas location for their outstanding service and good people!

I am very happy with this Midas location. Having just moved to this area about a year ago, the timeliness of the repairs is fantastic. Getting my car maintenance done previously at a different repair shop, meant not having my car for 2-3 days. The manager is always friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I am more than pleased with my experience at this location.
