Midlands Volkswagen of Columbia Service Department

I paid $1,263 for service here and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I dropped off my car early Saturday morning and clearly told Mason F. that I came from another town and would be waiting in Columbia until the service was finished. He assured me they would call. Instead, no one called, no one answered the phone after 4:30 PM, and when I arrived around 5 PM, the entire place was already closed- despite Google showing they’re open until 6:30. My personal items were locked inside the car, and because I couldn’t get the vehicle back, my entire family’s Sunday and Monday logistics were disrupted. I was late to work and had to spend an extra three hours returning to Columbia to retrieve the car. They didn’t apologize or even acknowledge the inconvenience. They

Staff was very friendly service department is incredibly over priced. Took my VW for an alternator replacement and they quoted me $2300. Took it somewhere else in Sumter immediately saved $800. Shop around before you accept any work from Midlands

I have my vehicle with these guys now. They have been very helpful and straight forward. I definitely recommend you give these guys a call if you're having issues with a vehicle.
