I stopped at Mike's when my camper van stopped shifting well and making some awful noises. He was so incredibly kind! Tried trouble shooting it as best he could. Added fluids, checked tires, test drove several times. He identified a locked caliper and transmission problem. I was able to limp back to Ukiah safely get a tow and to a shop for repair. I'm so thankful I stopped and was met with kindness. Thank you! -Meridith

We had a flat tire several miles south of Laytonville about halfway through a long van drive the day before Christmas Eve. We managed to change it to the spare and brought it to Mike's in the hopes it could be repaired. He came into the shop to check it but couldn't repair it and replacement would have taken several days for the tire to come because of timing. He reassured us we'd be ok to get to Eureka for a replacement and even made sure our spare tire was full of air before sending us on our way. He didn't ask us for a thing. Thank you for being such a good Samaritan for a family in need! Merry Christmas!

Mike from Mikes automotive saved our day and our drive home. My boyfriend and I have been on a road trip, we were on our way home to Los Angeles today when our alternator went completely out. Everyone in town pointed us to Mikes and he was beyond helpful. Due to our situation Mike stayed after hours to get us back on the road the same day. I don’t know what we would have done without his help.

Mike's automotive was just what we needed. He's a guy who gets it done. He didn't take to suggestions but he probably didn't know who I was either. Would highly recommend his services if you are in the area. Five stars to Mike! Mike got us going on home 🏡 for sure. Apparently toyota 3.5 liters engines have have a oil line issue which need to be addressed.. Mike got us going again which is awesome Going to replace the rubber hoses with the improved version now available. 👌

We had a flat tire on our rental SUV on our way home from a family camping trip and were lucky enough to be right near Mike's Automotive in Laytonville, where we pulled into the driveway. It was after business hours but we called the number on the sign and Mike graciously drove back to his shop and helped us out. We were super lucky. He changed the tire quickly we were on our way.
