This has been a wonderful home and caring community for mother going on 12 years now. Life in independent living was very good with the apartment itself and amenities and services. And now in the assisted living side she is well cared for, and well supported. We live in another state and have great peace of mind with her here. Mom says she feels safe and she feels loved.

I would never send my parent to this place ever again!!!!!I was told different stories on different occasions.My parent was left to suffer multiple occasions with a health issue that needed attention in a timely manner knowing he was in pain you chose to take your break and left him to suffer till I called for assistance when you clearly heard him yelling in pain! I do want to Thank those workers who did treated him with dignity and respect .

DO NOT send your loved one here.I have seen mice and bed bugs. Bad bug infastations in rehab residence and no one says anything. People need to check on their loved ones for bites about the hair line, legs and ankles. The buildings have bad infestations, and the problem can not be cured by bug spray. Please look into this ASAP!! They depend on the dementia of the patient to forget about such things, and then they don't have to worry about them. It's a gigantic cover-up. Instead of them helping to rehab your loved one, they do less and less. You can press your emergency pendant as a resident, and the alarm will not be responded to during the shift change. I wouldn't recommend sending any of my loved ones here even if was the last place on earth. They use old batteries on the machine lifts and the wrong colored batteries on the lifts. Many residents has either fallen from these machines due to lack of batteries or even stuck in the air for 30+minutes. There have been many infestations of bed bugs on 3east on numerous of separate occasions. They wouldn't do much to the rooms but spray bug spray and continue on with there day. Half of the staff is always high on the job but the supervisors don't care cause they are very short of staff and the need the bodies so they'll put the residents last and take who they can get. My grandma went to the rehab unit at Milwaukee Catholic Home after a serious cardiac problem. All the staff and therapists were great and contributed to her full recovery. She especially enjoyed the food and going to some of the music programs. Thank you for making her stay comfortable and encouraging her to get stronger.
