I had a terrible experience with Michael at this shop in Garfield, NJ. First, he quoted me $900 for a repair that every other mechanic estimated between $50–$100. When I pushed back, he suddenly dropped the price to $150, then finally agreed to $100 — which already made me lose trust. When I arrived, he began working but broke the armrest on my car door in the process. Instead of apologizing and trying to make it right, he gave me a very rude attitude when I expressed concern. At that point, I didn’t even feel safe letting him finish the original repair (the mirror), because I worried more damage would happen.
