The shop staff is excellent and pleasant. I’ve never had an issue with the service. I do have an issue with the new call service - I used to call and talk to Nate or Marcus and they’d know me immediately and set me up with an appointment that worked for all of us (a conversation). Now I get someone with a script that has no idea about me, my car, or potential scheduling factors. Saying that - I just stopped in to figure out when they could get my oil change done (that day worked out great!). I’ll continue to do that next time to bypass the “make an appointment” - way faster than all those questions from the call center!

I stopped by because my tire pressure light was on, and Nate was extremely kind and efficient. He checked all of my tires, found one was low, and then made sure everything had the right amount of air before I was back on the road. He also noticed some other signs of wear and gave me some thoughtful advice on what to look out for. I’m so grateful for how professional and kind Nate was today - thank you for helping me out and for your excellent service!!

Went in with a Groupon for an oil change that said tire rotation was included. Manager Nate said the Groupon was wrong, charged me $24 extra, and refused the rotation. He wouldn’t let me wait, said it’d be done at the end of the day, so I Ubered home. An hour and a half later, it was ready — total waste of time. When I picked up my car, there was a scratch on my steering wheel. I called Nate, and he got defensive. When I brought in photos from a week earlier proving the damage wasn’t there, he just said “he’s never seen this in his 25 years and the whole thing is very strange,” He claimed he’d file a report, but told me neither he nor his boss would approve it. I overpaid, wasted hours, and now have hundreds in damage to my car — all from trying to save a few bucks. Stay away from Monro

I was able to get a same day appointment for an oil change and new brakes. Nate is an exceptionally kind and helpful person. This location is the only place we would go for expert and honest auto maintenance and repairs.

Nick S' comment to this store reminded my of my similar bad experience with this store around 1-2 year ago. When you purchased a groupon coupon and try to redeem in the store, you feel it like a scam. Nate, the appear-to-be store manager, tried various excuses to dishonor the coupon. Stories like "Synthetic Blend Oil does not work for your vehicle" (which is not true); "Synthetic Blend Oil will void your powertrain warranty" (which is not true); and finally "Synthetic Blend Oil is out of stock" (ok, he won). Time (half-day) and money (groupon wont give you a refund) wasted. Stay away from Monro Newton.
