Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers

Needed to replace my muffler and get a state inspection. They had to order the parts and despite a blizzard got the parts delivered and they were able to install it late on a Friday night to get mr going for the weekend. So far happy with the work and mechanic that worked with me was friendly and accommodating.

The worse experience I ever had at an auto center, I went there at 12:30pm for an inspection sticker the 2 guys there were rude to the customers an acted like they didn't care if the customers left. The guy doing the inspection didn't have anyone ahead of me but told me it would be 2 hours before he could inspect my car, I asked him if I could make an appointment he said yes and made it for 3pm. While I was there I was talking to another customer who told me he was there since 9am for an oil change and 2 tires installed, I left at 1pm and the customer was still there. I came back at 2:45 pm for my 3pm appointment there was a lady with a 2pm appointment for a sticker also, we didn't get our stickers until after 4pm, from 245pm to 4pm the guy that did the inspection was just talking to some

The location in Warren is a complete joke and a mess. I called a week before and made a 1:30 appointment. I arrive and one staff member just returned from lunch to unlock the door minutes later. I was there for an appointment for a state inspection. I’m told that person is out for lunch and would be back soon, with the time estimate changing. He does not return for over another hour and oddly walks around the waiting area taking photos with an iPad of tires and signs. While I was waiting two other people came in for inspection appointments with one leaving when hearing the 1-2 hour wait, the other guy left after waiting an hour, but I decided to stick around to get this over with. After two hours of waiting, I ask the inspection guy when he would be doing my car and he’s clueless about why

As always, the service at Monro was exceptional. It is easy to make an appointment. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and explain each step of the work to be done. Great team! Thanks

A year ago I got my inspection sticker here and it was quick and painless. More recently I got my oil changed and also had my car inspected. They quoted me $1500 for a repair job. It seemed high and a bit unnecessary for me. I went to L&H instead the next day and they did the inspection + job the same day for me for only $500, yes L&H did fewer things to my car, but they did only what I needed. For example L&H fixed my car headlight by just unplugging and replugging the wire instead of trying to buy a new pair of headlights like Monro would, one was free, the other would have been like $100. Perhaps L&H is just more efficient, perhaps Monro was just looking to take more of my money. Maybe a bit of both. Either way I figured this review would help someone looking to not get ripped off si
