I don't know how they do it, but the mossy family is able to find the greatest employees that anyone could ask for. Before I was a customer there I did electrical work there and these people are something else... They really do care about the satisfaction of their customers. Even a lot guy that does a lit of custodial stuff... Mario... He's amazing and he's got the greatest stories to share if you got the time. This place will always make it right. Or @ least try their best.

Sales and service departments are not good and very underwhelming. Sales - Initially test drove and submitted a credit app for a new 2025 Toyota. Sales person was aggressive, abrasive, misleading and not helpful. It was very obvious all he wanted was to sell me a car. I ended up buying my Toyota from another dealership in San Diego and had a great experience with better pricing. Service department - I live in Pacific Beach and was willing to give the service department a try even though their ratings are not great. I made an appointment first thing in the morning for a basic oil change, which required me to use paid time off from work. This place is a huge scam. They overcharge insanely compared to other Toyota service centers in the area. Like $450 for a 45 min job they claim takes 3 hours. INSANE! That $450 is with a 15% military discount! Go to Carlsbad if you must go to a Toyota Dealership. I came here because it was 10 min closer and I had the coupon. NEVER AGAIN.

My 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid stopped in San Diego. My son had to put it in neutral and move it off the road. Then it was towed to this repair shop at the dealership. For a price of $220 the diagnosis on a piece of paper was a faulty hybrid battery that needed to be replaced for $5,500 (!!!)(yes. You read that correctly). I declined the service and told the shop since I had just put in a new battery in January 2025 (half a year ago) in a Los Angeles repair shop for $2,500 and the battery was guaranteed for 6 years. So obviously I needed to have the car towed back. My complaint is that the Toyota Repair never put the hybrid battery they took out back in place. They just left it all in the trunk. Avoid this dealership at all costs...Took in my mint condition 70k truck for warranty. only 3000 were made in this color and style so it's rare. They decided to smash, damage completely ruined this original truck and they didn't even tell me about the damages they caused. Talking about bad customer service. Dale Snow is bar worse person to deal with. Rude as can be. No class. Customer service manager has no clue at all. They didn't even say sorry for what happened and never fixed it to original.
