Mountain View Garage

They've heard never been there.I used it as a point of reference for some place that somebody was selling something but since facebook's gonna bug the crap out of me until I give a review.I'm giving one.

Dropped off at 2pm for oil change and inspection. Didn't expect them to keep it OVERNIGHT. I have 2 jobs to go to dude they didn't even bother to call and let me know like hey were keeping your car overnight even though you had an appointment for something that takes maybe 2hrs. Apparently I was called but received nothing, got in touch with owner and was more than happy to help.

Highly recommend!!! Honesty would be my first word I use to describe this place. Friendly, knowledgeable and their pricing is very affordable. I've used them three times and have been extremely happy with their service. Don't waist your time going anywhere else!

Horrible service, even more horrible communication. They kept my boyfriend's car semi-hostage for SIX MONTHS as they strung us along, the receptionist lied over and over, the owner and/or mechanic refused to return phone calls or answer any questions about the timeline, said it was "just going on the lift today" when we got exasperated and said we'll just pick it up and take it elsewhere, then didn't do the work for a few more months, each time we managed to talk to them lying through their teeth. And then after we FINALLY got it and settled the bill, we ended up taking it to another mechanic who had to fix all the poor work done by Mountain View. These kind folks are car enthusiasts providing fantastic service at a fair price! Mountain View Garage swapped in a performance exhaust part to liven up the sound of my Mustang. Billy did a great job with the install work, quick & correct, and the rest of the team were super friendly—they all appeared to enjoy hearing my car fire up as I got ready to drive off. On top of all that, they charged less than HALF what a Harrisonburg garage quoted for the same work! I couldn’t believe it, I was so happy, and it was just too easy to leave a nice tip for their helpfulness & honesty. Thank you!
