Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers

I had my truck towed to Mr. Tire because of starting issues. They diagnosed needing a new battery and starter. They gave me a good price and Steve was very nolidgable and friendly and let me know up front what to expect. They had my truck ready the next morning. Good and honest people.

I had an appointment to get a car inspection at 2pm and was told it would take 45 min. I went to check to see how long they had because I had somewhere to be at 3:20pm to only find out my car was still sitting in the same spot I parked it. I asked have they gotten to my car yet to only find out they haven’t even touched my car. There was no communication none whatsoever letting me know it would take longer than expected. The fact that I had to leave there without getting services I scheduled for is ridiculous. Highly unprofessional on their behalf.

No appointment no problem. I had plenty of time and they were able to fit me into their schedule and I didn't have to wait long at all.

Had an appointment for just an inspection. Waited for 1 hour and was shown an estimate for over a thousand dollars for new tie rod ends and headlight bulb, neither of which it needed. Got inspected AND PASSED at Jiffy Lube. Cannot recommend this place. They also parked my vehicle so close to another that it took me 5 turns to get out. AND the inspection kid there cranked-up my AC and adjusted my seat. Hey, leave it alone people. It's MY car!!!

Have used Mr Tire the last couple of years after decades of being a Discount Tire patron. I find the personnel not nearly as robotic as DT comes off at most locations. I particularly frequent the Mr Tire in Roxboro and find the staff down home and more my speed. Not the get em in and out as fast as possible style. I find they are far more willing to have a chat with you about oddities you may notice with your vehicle and are more apt to get a feasible and affordable suggestion. This location has better pricing than the DT locations nearby as well.
